I am very pleased with Greenbrook GMC. After being told at another dealership that I would have to wait months to have my 5 year old truck looked at for a possible transmission issue, I had an appointment in 2 days even though it was the holiday season. Jason was extremely helpful, informative and experienced. He kept me up to date on the progress and contacted the necessary companies about warranty work. He tracked down a rental vehicle and had my truck fixed in just over a week.

I made an appointment for scheduled maintenance and to address a problem with my infotainment system. The screen frequently changes menus on its own. I dropped the car off at 8:30am on December 30th. At noon I was informed that the car wasn't yet in for service, and again in late afternoon it was still not in for service. So I was without my car for an entire day and a half. What is the point of making an appointment? By early afternoon the next day the car was finally ready for pickup. The technician indicated that the infotainment system malfunction was the result of a needed software update. Unfortunately, after a $230 diagnostic fee, the infotainment system is still not fixed. I have not been able to set up a follow-up visit because I have needed my vehicle. We have bought no less than 5 vehicles from Green Brook GMC and have always used their service department for routine maintenance. Once I schedule the follow up for the still malfunctioning infotainment system, this will be our last visit to the dealership.

The wait is too long and there’s no information given to you unless less you call and stay on top of these people they don’t have enough mechanics and take for ever to fix anything I had a GM representative call and caught them on a lie when they told me they were waiting for parts and they told GM they didn’t have enough people to work on my vehicle Not very good service at all

Had to bring my Envision in because the Check Engine Light was on. I avoided driving the car until I could drop it off for the needed service. It turns out all that was needed was a software update. There was nothing wrong with the car. I find this to be totally ridiculous. It's like setting off a fire alarm and having the fire department show up because of a software update. Why couldn't I get a text or email notifying me of the software update or the dealer notifying me at my next service date? Very poor!

Staff was nice. Facility was very clean. I was not, however, happy when I was told there would be the additional charge for using a credit card. With car service being typically over $100, how can you state this when the customer is there! This should be communicated when making the appointment as the customer can bring cash! Not acceptable.

Had a warranty issue with transmission and kept playing games. Asked me to produce receipt and date of install. I did on date of drop off. I declined loaner car, as to not be selfish because I had a spare vehicle at home to use. Then 8 days later wanted flush codes??? My mechanic said that's absurd. Dealership wanted to charge me $495 to diagnosis a warranty problem and then said they couldn't guarantee they would honor warranty even after diagnosis to confirm hydraulic module issue. I told them to forget it, and that I will pick up the vehicle. So after having it for 11 days, they did nothing. Won't go back or buy from them again.

When I brought in the car yesterday to install the camera system, they were also supposed to take care of the 3 other issues I had. 1. Passenger side door unlocks but does not lock. 2. Custom height programming for the lift gate does not work. 3. In winter, when the temp is set at a higher temp than the internal cabin temperature, it still blows cold air. Car was in the shop all day. Tech says all the 3 issues were functioning as intended and nothing was done. Both service managers, Guary and another guy was telling me that the A/C unit is working correctly blowing cold air in winter conditions. In every car I have had, when it is very cold, the air system does not come on until the engine has heated up then blows warm air even if the system temperature is set at 68 because it makes sense that if the internal cabin temp is lower than the set temp, it should blow warm air and not cold. Also, I was not given a user manual for the camera system nor an explanation of how it works. I do not know how to playback the recorded video if there is an incident. 2 bolts/screws were left on the floor on the drivers side. I don’t know if these were left out (forgotten to install) or not needed. The camera lenses were still covered by their protective tapes. If I didn’t go to check out the cameras, they would not be recording clear images

The front desk gentleman was very friendly. However, I came in for an oil change and key fab batteries. I was told I also was in need of an alignment because it was due. No prices were relayed to me. The workers acted like it was no big deal. A bill I paid after told otherwise. It was a lot more than I expected. And after the fact, I researched that my mileage did NOT warrant an alignment yet. Therefore, I felt there was some deception in the work completed.

Referred to the dealership by Costco. I visited the dealership twice and the only questions I was asked was how I could be helped. There were moments in both visits where I thought pressure to make a untimely decision or purchase more than I wanted was right around the corner and every time I was wrong. The people I met all seemed to be people-people and not "car salesmen", though they were helpful in the sale. Dennis Podkovyrov was especially helpful. Because of supply issues, this was a process that dragged on for months and, unlike other dealerships, Dennis never pushed me into clearing a car from his inventory. He understood exactly what I wanted and, when asked, presented multiple deals for me to consider: Finance vs lease; down payment vs none. He fielded all my requests professionally and kindly. I understand why Costco directed me nearly 30 miles away, when I live within 20 minutes drive to at least half a dozen other Chevrolet Dealers.

Jason at Green Brook GMC is fantastic. I have been aware of the recall for the 6.2L V8s and asked during my routine service if they could look into the recall. Jason stated the recall was not active on my VIN but they could do the pre-recall inspection. My vehicle failed the inspection and I was told by Jason he would request GM open the recall on my VIN as well as inquire with GM how they wanted to handle a fix. Within a few days, I received a letter from GM stating the recall was now active and since I failed the inspection and my motor was at risk of failure, Jason expediently worked on my behalf and advised that their dealership had a replacement motor in stock and offered full replacement. Jason scheduled my replacement within 5 days of the inspection failure and arranged a loaner car for me as well. The replacement was completed in two days with minimal interruption to my normal routine and equally as important, no out of pocket expenses whatsoever. Jason was absolutely fantastic to work with and I thank the entire tech team at Green Brook GMC for a job well done on the replacement. I couldn't have asked for a more seamless and stress free experience during an otherwise potentially stressful situation. Jason even had my vehicle washed and detailed! Thank you again to Jason and the staff. You all went above and beyond. Your service is truly recognized and appreciated.

Hello, First of all, I’ve had all of my vehicle maintenance done here since the day I bought my car. However, this will be my last visit. Your service advisor is truly a great person—very helpful and understanding. But unfortunately, the vehicle service itself is very disappointing. I came in with an issue related to the cruise control system and explained the problem clearly from the beginning. When the vehicle was returned to me, I was told I needed to leave it for two more days—but no one explained what the issue was. Naturally, I did not accept that. I went to another GMC dealership the same day, and they resolved the problem in just 5 minutes. Their customer service was excellent. From now on, I think I will choose a different GMC dealership for oil changes and all future maintenance. Thank you.

We just had a tire rotation and 1st oil change. Surprised that they didn’t wash and /or vacuum our vehicle. We have been used to getting those services with Infiniti Bridgewater or VW without asking, which is what we usually like about a smaller type dealer that doesn’t carry 6 brands. My only other small issue was that when I came in to pick up my car after service, I stood waiting in the service area in front of everybody at their workstations without being greeted or acknowledged until I had to go up to somebody. Considering how close I was to all their desksI thought that was fairly rude.

My transmission got uber sick. I naturally took her to Green Brook and was given an estimate for a complete replacement . Jason was excellent, as always. He detailed what was wrong and set the expectation of both cost & timing. Very helpful so I could arrange funds and adjust my busy schedule. Throughout the repair Jason remained in communication with updates via text which is perfect for me. The repair was completed slightly early getting. Event Suerra begot the weekend. And a bit under the estimate. I need transportation and a driver was available both directions. Your drivers a great to chat with and I enjoy the discussions . Green Brook is the best dealership I’ve ever dealt with in my 45 years of vehicle ownership. I love my Sierra 1550 (which I acquired thru Carvana) and told Jason when I’m ready I’ll trade this sierra in for a newer model at Green Brook. Always a pleasure doing business with them especially in stressful times that an unexpected repair suddenly comes up. I’ll always recommend them for service and great support.

I turned in the car on 5/15/25 for the work to be started, I was promised it would take 2 weeks provided that all the necessary parts were ordered and in possession at the time to start the work and that GMC was affiliated with a body shop to paint the parts, I went along with getting the work done at GMC due to what I was promised despite the fact that I was already set up at a certified body shop for the repairs. I was given a loaner initially and returned it prior to going on vacation but I was promised a loaner on reserve upon my return on July 1 2025. I never got the loaner despite several calls/messages requesting it. I was told that the truck was taken to the body shop and it would take another 2 weeks, but it actually took 4 weeks. The day it was brought back to GMC from the body shop and I was scheduled to pick it up, I was told to wait until the next day or the Monday 8/11, the morning of Saturday I was texted and informed that there was a $4000 discrepancy between the bill from GMC for all the work and the two payments received, I was told that the vehicle would not be released to me still until this matter was resolved. I got another text later that day saying that the $4000 discrepancy had been reduced to $342 , and until received the vehicle would not be released, despite me informing the staff that I had a rental car that I was paying for at $45/day. I feel like the car should have been released the day it returned from the body shop. The $342 could have been resolved with the insurance company and GMC, and the car should’ve been released to me- But that didn’t happen.Finally on Friday, August 15 I received a call that I can get the vehicle.

Service was done - OK Car was not washed and cleaned. This is a basic thing I expect else I can do servicing in a local garage. Also you charge extra for credit card and debit card payments. I have paint peeling on my back bumper of my 2023 GMC pickup. They told me that someone must have hit the bumper, maybe in a parking lot. I do not agree. I think you just want to charge me $900 that estimated to repaint it.

I received a notice to change the oil in my car When I went to have this done, I was told there was a "plug" missing from the dealer, ??? and I was in fact leaking oil! I purchased my car 12/18 and I was told the dealer had changed the oil in my car 12/4... 2 wks before I bought my car When I called the service dept to discuss, she did tell me to come in The dealer did change the oil but did not admit to causing this issue I was driving for 6 months leaking oil because of their mistake !

My recent lease of a GMC Terrain is proving to be a disappoint not only in my selection, but most unexpectedly the customer service provided by Green Brook. I chose to get this new lease at Green Brook based on previous positive experiences where I didn’t feel like I was being “handled” by stereotypical “car dealer” tricks. I had never experienced misinformation in my previous transactions with GreenBrook. This experience was much the opposite. In hindsight, the decision to lease another GMC is a mistake on my part. I contacted the dealership 12 hours after taking possession of the vehicle to express my displeasure, but it took almost a week to connect with their staff. After eventually discussing the situation and what I was looking for, I was offered free oil changes. Obviously no interest in assisting a “valued customer” once the paperwork is signed. And I am still dealing with GMC Financial over complications from my previous lease, which GMC Financial is claiming to be based on the dealership. It’s clear that I need to live with my mistake and the Terrain will be a daily reminder for the next 36 months of my unfortunate selection of vehicle and dealership. There is not much for me to do at the point in time besides wait for notice that my license plates are ready for pick up.

I experienced a "check engine light" situation in Woodside, Queens last Thursday morning with reduced steering notification. I immediately contacted Jason, at Greenbrook GMC Buick, when I noted the temperature gauge registered zero. All other functions seemed to be operating normally. Based on the information I provided to Jason, he said it was safe to drive to the Greenbrook dealership by end of day. At the time of drop off, he would diagnose the code and set up a call with the extended warranty company early the following morning to cover the necessary repair. I am pleased to share by 8:30 AM I was notified the claim had been approved. I was advised I would be on my way before noon. I received a call at 11:15 AM stating the repair was completed. The GMC Acadia was road tested and everything was in excellent working order. I am pleased to share once again, Jason, and his service team members at Greenbrook GMC Buick provided superior service, not only to me, but my to GMC!

I was there several different times and once while looking at the car was rushed out of the dealership because they wanted to close by 7. I was told by Oscar to put down a refundable deposit and come back if I was interested. Upon going back the next day I was told I was unable to meet with Oscar, whom I was working with and had previously called to tell when I would be there. I was instead sent directly to finance. I questioned why I was at finance since we had not been able to discuss the car the previous night and was sent to work with a man named Erik. Erik was beyond rude and yelled the entire time we met with him. He refused to how us the breakdown of fees or the invoice even though he was directly asked. He explained that the processing charge was nothing more than something used to pay the owners. At one point he tried to make me sign a blank paper saying I was making a deal which was not the case and he became even louder when I refused to sign. Extremely upset I left that night and was convinced by my friend that was with me to go back to work with Oscar the next day. I explained that I refused to work with Erik and I was finally able to finish the deal with Oscar. I worked with John in finance who was an absolute pleasure to work with and the only person that made us feel wanted and did not rush us out. He even answered the questions that Erik had refused the previous night! After making the deal and finishing with John we walked out to an almost dark dealership. Oscar walked me to my car and then left. Everyone except John was gone from the parking lot before I was able to figure out some of the systems in my car on my new car on my own. I have never had a dealership experience like this!

On Monday 11/10/25 I stopped by the dealership so Mr Clark could take a picture of my rim to send to the warranty department for it to be repaired and let Mr Clark know I would be there on 11/12/25 for a oil change. On Wednesday 11/12/25 I dropped my vehicle off for a oil change @8:30a I didn’t receive a message about my oil change until 1:12p. I was told “ The technician has gone over your vehicle and there are services that are overdue at this time. I will send the estimate over following this text. The wheel company did not approve your wheel repair until today. I can schedule to have the wheel guy come here tomorrow to perform the repair” I’m confused why after dropping my vehicle off @8:30a details about my oil change weren’t communicated until 4.5 hours later. I then ask for details about the rim repair which was “what time will they be there the following day” and was told “ they don’t give us a time frame “ Mr Clark knew that I was being shuttled to and from the dealership and could not communicate what time I would be picking my vehicle up on 11/13/25. I then Had to ask what time the shuttle driver left to make sure I would have a ride. On 11/13/25 Mr Clark did not call or text to let me know anything about what time my vehicle would be done. I sent a message @2:24 pm asking if my vehicle was finished. No response ! I then had to call the dealership and once getting in touch with a young lady in the service department she had to relay my questions and Mr Clark’s answers because I’m assuming he was too busy to pick up the phone. The only phone call I received from Mr Clark was Thursday @3:23p to let me know the shuttle was outside my house. When getting to the dealership another advisor attempted to take care of my services and was unable to do so after walking back and forth to Mr Clark’s booth in which he was not helping another customer because no one else was in there eventually I went to his booth in which I received a total of my oil change as $124.95 and I get there he tells me it’s $140. I explained that I did not pay that the last couple times I was there and Mr Clark asked if I had a coupon in which I told him I have never brought in a coupon. Mr Clark states that I now would need a coupon because last time there was a special going on and there was no special on that day and he would take $10 off. During my conversation Mr Clark was very short and seemed to agitated because of the questions I was asking. After this second experience with Mr Clark, his horrible communication and disturbing attitude I no longer would like to deal with him as an advisor. The first time I had to speak to his manager in which he said he would speak to Mr Clark. From these experiences I feel I don’t want to come back to the dealership to get a oil change at all however I hope all the advisers aren’t the same and will give someone else a try!

This is my third vehicle from Green Brook, my son also had automobiles from Green Brook, because of my recommendation, this was the first time I had a certified pre-owned, the others were new, when i.got the encore last year it had 23000 miles on it, now it only has 26000 miles, when I came yesterday for my oil change James texts me with over $2000 worth of things to be done as I retired 80 year old senior I almost fainted, when I spoke with him he acted like this is normal, or "do you want this done or take your pick" you can ask my salesman Frank Walker I take excellent care of my cars, James even wanted me to get a new battery for $355 plus tax" I talked with Frank, I never want another certified pre-owned again, I did it this time because the monies I had to.put down, which was over, if I can remember was over $3000, I adore this dealership, especially when Tony Tiano, was my service advisor, I think Frank is fantastic, my husband said next time, as I told Frank I plan on leasing a.new vehicle as I have in the past, I intend to keep this Encore perfect for trade in, but after this incident I don't know if it will be with Greenbrook, my son left and purchased a Jeep from another dealership, I adored this dealership but this may be the last time, i.have had four vehicle's in the past with a Kia dealership and every experience was outstanding, I think when a person purchases something of this magnitude every time should be pleasant, and the dealership should want you to remain their customer, and bring in other potential customers, like I did with my son, I now have a hard working grandson who is thinking about a new car, after this experience with Greenbrook I don't know if I am going to push a recommendation, I have had a new Encore, then I leased a new Envision, then my salesman when the delightful JD, now I have this certified pre-owned Encore, for my next vehicle I will be leasing a new one, I hope to.have enough to keep my payments reasonable, Frank has been exceptional, sincerely Eugenia Morse

This was my second time coming in for service, and both times it took over 10 minutes just to be acknowledged, even though there were no other customers waiting. I do appreciate that the actual service was completed quickly. However, I wasn’t very impressed with the customer service. The advisor seemed a bit impatient when I asked questions about the services included with my lease. Overall, the communication and attentiveness could be improved.

I have a transmission problem that still exists and I only had the car for 6 months. The car has 54 thousand miles on it and to be honest I don’t think I should be having this problem this soon. Also I have an electrical issue that’s been going on since I bought the car and I think it’s getting worse. I thought I had a certified vehicle.

When I purchased the extended warranty, I was informed about a diagnostic fee, which I understand is standard practice. However, I was not made aware that this fee would apply to each separate issue I brought in on the same day. This lack of clarity has left me feeling frustrated, as I expected the diagnostic fee to cover multiple issues during a single visit. I believe clear communication is essential in providing excellent customer service, and I would appreciate any clarification on this policy for future reference. I think they do a great job. They keep you informed while you wait for the service to be done. Very important - they don't want surprises and let you know what the costs will be. I believe they are honest and do not try to do unnecessary work on my vehicle. The reps know how to work with my GM Reward points and use every coupon or discount available. The repair/service work is always done well. I needed a part ordered to complete my repair, they ordered it and set up my next appointment for tomorrow. Good all around.
